In the 31st century, a global cataclysm brought human civilization on Earth to an end. Five thousand years later, humankind now stands on the precipice of extinction; as the final descendants of Earth attempt to survive on a massive floating platform, a city, suspended in the upper atmosphere of a now destroyed planet Earth below, and with hope and life quickly slipping away, time is running out.

 

But with humanity’s remaining existence now measured in only a matter of years, a young woman named, Rexi, and her friends make an incredible discovery, one that has the potential to transform their world, and the future forever. But confronted with the reality that fuel is running low to power the floating city’s antigravity emitters keeping their city aloft, time is of the essence. Only a few years remain until the great floating city is expected to fall from the sky; and with a destroyed surface world below, combined with the reality that no one has traveled beyond the orbit of the Moon in centuries; options are few, time is running out, and human extinction is all but guaranteed.

 

While still reeling from her own personal tragedies, Rexi must overcome her own demons first if there is any hope in her saving her own world from destruction.

 

Armed only with the support of her friends and rumors of a lost human colony in deep space, and the faith instilled into her by her now long-dead parents, will Rexi have any hope of breaking free from the bonds of Earth, and finaly, just maybe, reach out and touch the stars.
